The Minneapolis Civilian Police Review Authority (CRA) is working to
address the backlog of cases that accumulated while the CRA was being
restructured. In late July, the city council selected the new members of
the CRA board. In September, the board held its first meeting and is now
working to adopt new operating rules. Once those rules are approved by the
city council, the board can begin resolving complaints, possibly in
November.

The board is seeking feedback on the new operating rules at a public
hearing. The public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in
room 100, Grain Exchange Building, 400 South 4th Street. To learn more
about the public hearing, click on

The CRA is also working to fill a position that remains open on the board.
