I would hope that Amy Klobachar will make good on her commitment (made verbally to a Democratic Party Convention) to pursue the Sabri-bribery of Herron matter into State Courts if the Federal case does not go. I would also hope she is working with the US Attorney on the case as it goes through Federal Court. The whole Metro area watched it occur on television. It is not a question of what occured, it is a question of jurisdiction. The Federal penalties are likely higher than our State requires.
Perhaps Klobachar's office could clarify this matter. Since the public funds being talked about also included CDBG funds I can not see how a judge could find that Federal Funds were not included.
