Vicky replies.... So glad you asked. I'll form a NON-PROFIT to fill this void. I'll call it "Government Accounting: 2 + 2 = 1." Classes will explain why budget INCREASES are called CUTS. Classes will explain how the Minneapolis Park Board can spend $78 million annually and claim to be broke. Classes will explain how property taxes meant for the Police and Fire Departments actually pay for yachts in Naples, Florida. Classes will explain that overspending $30-$40 million each year, for many consecutive years, creates the expensive curse of DEBTUS MAXIMUS. This class is a pre-requisite for CHOKING ON INTEREST PAYMENTS. There is no limit to the classes that we could offer. All contributions will be appreciated and tax deductible. Heck, I might even donate some of my own money and deduct it on my tax return. Then, I'll pay myself a juicy salary from the NON-PROFIT. Sweet! This idea is growing on me, especially since 79% of income to NON-PROFITS comes from "government grants." What a clever way to get a tax refund. Sweet! I'm liking this a lot.
