I'm not sure what point either of you is trying to make, so I'll enter this argument unbiased and say that I moved to Minneapolis in 1983. At that time, the Warehouse District was the place to go for nightlife. While there were just a few places, there were good ones: The Loon, Faegres (was across the street from the Loon, where Bros is now), French Caf Bar (only half of its present size), and the Caribbean place I regrettably can't recall the name of now, but was a great place for a Red Stripe and anything on the menu. Not counting the Monte Carlo and JD Hoyt's nearby.
