Lee Ecklund has some good points here...

I total agree about the shape of the horseshooe vs the old setting in the old chambers...
I know that is true also in the old vs new Park Board Board room. Our horseshoe is much bigger now and my  adversary is really far away and I certainly can't look him in the eye and directly point at him like in the old days (just a few short weeks ago, actually)  and we don't even have the coffee and the TV or the computers in front of us.

I think the outbursts were the same or even more directed when they could actually look at each other. But many times it seems they are grandstanding for the TV audience.
