An interesting comment from Judy Farmer in the stribe article on the public school survey. The survey did not ask parents why they choose not to send their children to public schools (or rather traditional schools) yet Ms Farmer says this gives us solid information to use and go back and find out more, well, what solid information does it show that everyone wasn't aware of already? Why not ask the parents why they are leaving the system in droves? This seems to be the solid information needed to begin to correct things within the system. Do they run another survey to find out? More monies will need to be spent more time and still the board will find ways not to address the serious problems occuring. Dain Lyngstad phillips/edina
