Since Jim Graham was recently expelled from the list, and some people are evidently concerned about this - I thought I'd let folks know of a list to discuss this:
Minneapolis Rules. This is an unofficial list to discuss Minneapolis Issues list management. To subcribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] By unofficial, I mean non-E Democracy sponsored. You can read message archives at:

I'm glad that Jim's message responding to PPL's Steve Cramer was posted here - though I'm disturbed at the editor done by Skyway News/SW Journal Editor David Brauer. I don't like things being edited on this list - since as a reader, I wish to decide for myself what to read - on this relatively unfiltered list.
Tim Erickson - list manager of the St Paul Issues list is trying to start a St Paul Chapter of E Democracy. This raises some questions about E Democracy:
Is the E Democracy Board currently active (beyond Steve Clift - board chair)?
Are there provisions for board elections?
Is there a way for general E Democracy membership (however that be defined) can have a role in choosing the Board of Directors?
Possibly a Minneapolis Chapter of E Democracy might be a way to address some of these issues.
The point of this separate list is to have a non-main list avenue for public discussion of list management issues - including list member expulsions - without drowning the main list into list management discussions. Quite a ways in the past - List Manager, David Brauer did participate in this list - he no longer does so.
