While I think smokers should be held responsible for their actions, I doubt that the 
specific smoker(s) that caused the house fire could be determined.  Also, I doubt that 
that person(s) would come forward and admit to their actions knowing what could happen.

In Janklows case its obvious who is guilty.  Keep in mind he has not served any time 
yet, and I doubt he will.

On Wednesday, the Star Tribune will publish an article praising the guilty
verdict in the Janklow case (1).

A few months ago, a smoker burned down a house in SE Mpls.  The fire killed
three people.  Why isn't that smoker facing 3 charges of murder?

Is it ok to kill when smoking carelessly, but not when driving?
