I like R.T.. He ran on a platform of clean politics untainted by the potential corruption of big dollar donors. The symbol of his campaign was an air freshener.

Not even half way through his term with no substantially funded opponent in sight RT is already fund raising for reelection. It's this kind of continual fundraising that makes even veteran political hacks like myself sick. Never mind the average citizen whose distrust of politics is further reinforced by this sort of lining of the campaign war chest while donors potentially have business before the city. RT's early fundraising also distracts resources from the need to unseat the unelected president that is the root cause of much homelessness. R.T. and I are both endorsing Dr. Dean for the task of cleaning the White House, so why is R.T. competing with Dr.Dean's current campaign for donor's dollars?

I will make the modest proposal that R.T. convert his campaign fundraiser into a fundraiser for local charities serving the homeless, and I'll be happy to make a donation.
