I enjoy dining at Heartland, a restaurant in St Paul that serves a Midwestern cuisine featuring organically grown or naturally raised products from local farms. Lenny Russo, chef de cuisine, buys supplies directly from the farmers instead of going through large distributors.
My question for the list is: Are there restaurants in Minneapolis that are similar to Heartland, that is, they feature locally-raised products? If so, what are they and what can you tell me about them? I would love to dine at a restaurant like Heartland that is closer to home. Scott McGerik http://mcgerik.com/scott/ REMINDERS: 1.
