Margaret,

Because it was in MIME or HTML format, your email to
the list ended up looking like the following after it
went through the digest and arrived in my inbox.

I'm uncertain which aspects were due to the digest
software and which were due to my email reader (Yahoo!
mail), but as you can see, it makes it much more
difficult to read the digests. It is my understanding
that posting in plain text eliminates this problem.

Most email programs should have a plain text option.
If it isn't readily available, I know that other list
members have offered program specific instructions in
the past.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but plain text
really does make reading the digests more pleasant.

Thanks,

- Jason Goray

Subject: [Mpls] No response yet from Erik or the
Mayor on the Bridge

In fairness to Erik, he did post to me, but only to
say that it is
MNDOT
that is putting in the bridge rods. (I already knew
that).... have my
interview
with MNDOT on film.

Since that was not the point of my post to him.. I
responded that he
had
not answered my question.
which was--- will he or the mayor talk about their
feelings about
the
bridge rods being put up? I prefer to call them "Dog
in the Manger
Rods?-- you
know, that dog coudn't and did not want to eat hay,
but he would not
let those
cows or sheep eat it.
What is the loss of political capital (sp?) to
voice a normal
reaction
of outrage about those bridge rods?
