At 9:45 this evening something blasted through my dining-room window, breaking the screen, storm, and interior window. (Would've probably hit me if I had been sitting in my usual spot at the dinner table.) I thought it was a shoot-out or something. I switched the light off and went for the phone to call 911 immediately.
HALF AN HOUR LATER, when the folks outside had long since disappeared, the police finally showed up. I have to admit, this is first time I've had to call 911 in a while, but what's up with this? Half hour response time to a shot fired? (Which came inside my house, for crying out loud!!!!) What's up with this? Is this normal?
