First of all this was not an 8 to 1 vote to put Jon Gurban in place. Am I hearing that because Vivian Mason is an open, honest and up front commissioner that is a bad thing?
It also sounds like Tony supports backroom politics, surprise candidates, no application process, no interviews. Why would it be a problem for the 5 commissioners to have Gurban interviewed in the same process the other candidates participated in? Could he pass the process. It seems as though Tony really prefers that the 5 commissioners continue to railroad there way through the park board system.
