Margaret, I didn't get invited to R.T.'s premature fundraiser either and I don't give a rip! I can think of several vantage points that give a better view of the New Year's celebration's along the riverfront than the Kaplan's million dollar digs, and I wouldn't have to soil myself rubbing shoulders with lobbyists there. Besides, the real new years parties are tonight- I'm going to one at a historic Lustron home that has managed to evade the wrath of Minneapolis' housing inspector's for half a century. Hopefully R.T. will remember whose election comes first and attend one of these fundraisers for our next president, Howard Dean. Details at minnesotansfordean.org ...

Agreed- Margaret, you seem to becoming obsessed with the mayor...

Why not get
together with Jonathan P., present some suggestions
and set an appointment during business hours?
Protesting a fundraiser is one thing and within your
Rights -kind of, but you seem hell-bent on a
confrontation. Rather its political or a social
gathering of friends, it's a private event and your
Mayor's presence does not make it a public free for
all.

Agreed- when on his own time the mayor has every right to shun the company of relatively normal citizens such as ourselves and instead fraternize with lobbyists, political hacks, captains of industry, and other unseamly characters. Does sound kinda kinky though...

hanging on in Hawthrone,
