Well, let's see. The guy has a wife from Peru and they speak Spanish in their home. So I think it would be safe to assume he's had exposure to at least one other culture even if DC is segregated. Also, while I don't know what kind of immigrant population DC has, I do know that there are a number of embassies there and from the testimony McManus gave yesterday, he worked a lot on Capitol-area security for political functions. So he's probably not in for a shock when he sees a Hmong or Somali face and he likely either had some training on cultural differences or it wouldn't surprise me if he went and learned about that on his own.
