TOMORROW at 10:30, Council Chamber, Room 317 The Transportation and Public Works Committee will be working on ram-rodding the 35W Excess project a little deeper into your life and pocketbook. (The meeting proper begins at 9:30AM.)
What follows is language from the agenda posted on the City of Minneapolis website. (http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/council/)
You'll be pleased to know that all the links to supporting documents in the agenda on the website are broken. . . . Makes it rather difficult to really gauge what will be taking place tomorrow. . . though some of us can guess.
Unless I am misreading, tt does appear that $150,000+ is being put up by the city to further the excess. . . .
It is short notice, but if you are interested in the future of your city I suggest you try to attend. If you oppose the 35-W Excess project, you need to make your existence known and watch how (and for whom) the cookie crumbles.
