The school board does not seem to want much responsibility for the teaching staff. WM: This is the system that has been used for decades in the Longshoreman's union and some others.
It would, among other things, move teachers from white collar workers to blue collar workers. The remaining teachers would probably make more money that way--overtime, platform time.... They would have to correct tests in the school building so they could clock on and off.
