If you live in an inner-city neighborhood as I do, you
really don't have to give your unused clothing and
goods to a charity. You can do direct service delivery
yourself. We have what we refer to as a "go away" tree
in front of our house. When we have clothes, furniture
or other household goods that we aren't going to use
any longer, we place them by the "go away" tree and
within a couple days, they have gone away. No, we
don't get a tax write off but it still ends up going
to someone who needs it.

world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." -- Margaret Mead
