I just heard the county vote yesterday was 7-0 in favor of the project "layout". Was anyone there? Can anyone report on the discussion/outcome?
This outcome is very disappointing and an unnecessary step for our elected officials to take, given that it precedes the environmental review and public hearing process. Allina - a long term partner in the 35W Access Project process - is wrong to unilaterally trump the process at this time with the threat of moving jobs without city and county support for the project, and the city and county are wrong for bowing to Allina's demands.
