I have written both my city council member (Colvin-Roy) and county official
(McLaughlin) and let them know I am opposed to the Access project. Sandy has seen fit
to ask me why and I elaborated, while Peter has ignored my email thus far.

As for Allina holding us up with their promises, what do people on this forum think
are the chances they are bluffing about moving? They have a lot invested where they
are at present to pack up and move across the river.

I am not sure how I feel about Sandy yet, so will reserve judgment for now.
I am completely against the stadium issue so any ideas out there who we can get to
replace Peter McLaughlin for the county?

Subject: [Mpls] County vote on 35W Access Project

I just heard the county vote yesterday was 7-0 in favor of the project
"layout". Was anyone there? Can anyone report on the discussion/outcome?

This outcome is very disappointing and an unnecessary step for our elected
officials to take, given that it precedes the environmental review and
public hearing process. Allina - a long term partner in the 35W Access
Project process - is wrong to unilaterally trump the process at this time
with the threat of moving jobs without city and county support for the
project, and the city and county are wrong for bowing to Allina's demands.

The whole city council votes Friday. Any sense of how these votes are
lining up?
