Mark Anderson replies: Thanks Paul, for a perspective that matches my own. My son is in the pre-IB program at Anwatin. I was rather surprised at Michael's description of what the IB program was all about. My impression of the program is much as you describe it -- simply a rigorous academic program. My son has been in this program only starting this year, but at least so far I haven't seen any of the leftist propaganda that Michael refers to. In fact my impression of Anwatin has been that it has less of the politically correct touchy-feely stuff than the community school he went to for the Elementary grades.
