Hollywood Theater 90 day Development Update: Awsumb and Associates a) Preliminary drawings for a 350 seat capacity renovation of the theater space were presented. b) The design includes flexibility for banquets, conferences, theater seating and traditional movie screening and will include extensive renovation and refurbishing of existing theater amenities such as the fountain, columns, lobby, etc. c) The challenge is to renovate the theater while keep the debt level to a minimum. d) A business plan for operation of the Hollywood is currently being developed and will be submitted to the city within the next several weeks. e) Preliminary plans for a ten-unit housing project across the street from the theater were also discussed. f) The town house project will create tax base/tax abatement for funding theater renovations. g) An application to build ten urban style town houses is currently being developed. h) Groundbreaking and theater renovation activities are tentatively scheduled to begin in Spring 2004. i) It is estimated that the town house will take 6-7 months for completion and the theater project will take approximately 9 months to complete. j) A resolution from ANA to continue to support Awsumb and Associates as the developer of choice for another 90 day period was approved. To the best of my knowledge, there has been nothing more to note. POP! We've eaten there 4+ times and have always had a very enjoyable dining experience (recommended). The desserts are some of the best in the Cities.
