One has to wonder how Brighton Development, with such projects
as the North Star, Washburn and Stone Arch lofts and their
well-heeled residents are going to react to the presence of a
hydroelectric plant that will spoil their "lovely view"....
(and possibly decrease their property values)

Linda Mack's 9/7/2003 article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune

"City's birthplace finds new cachet as a vibrant, artsy neighborhood"

(mentions a few of the tony clients...)

"The condos in Brighton's latest project, the Washburn Lofts,
sold for $425,000 to approximately $2.5 million.
The directory reads like the donor lists for the Guthrie and
Walker Art Center -- Sage and John Cowles Jr.,
Philip and Joanne Von Blon, Margaret and Angus Wurtele."
