A couple of members have asked about our rules on publicizing events on the list, especially as the presidential campaigns heat up.
It's okay to post your event notice here IF the event happens in Minneapolis. The event DOES NOT have to be Minneapolis-specific. But if the event's topic isn't city-specific, don't debate the topic. Essentially, we treat these event notices as announcements, nothing more. I know this creates some confusion. The concept is that in our role as a Minneapolis civic forum, we can be a calendar of civic events happening in Minneapolis.
