A Peace Vigil will be held today Thursday, March 18 at 6:30pm at True Vine
Baptist Church, 2639 Thomas Avenue North in Minneapolis. This meeting is
part of an ongoing effort to address the violence in our community and to
provide leadership to young people as they confront these often difficult
times. A plan to help rid Minneapolis of gang violence will be announced by
Booker T Hodges and Clarence Hightower President of the Minneapolis Urban
League. Come listen to this plan and find out what you can do to help end
violence in our community. Members of the Minneapolis Police Department,
family members of gang violence victims, and respected ministers and
community leaders will be speaking at this event. We must come together to
try to end this gang violence in our city we cant afford to have another
child killed while they are setting in their living room doing home work.
