A few months ago, Minneapolis Finance Director Patrick Born, stated in the Strib that he was re-financing some parking ramp losers to make them more attractive to private buyers. There's been no follow up, so we don't know if the City has been able to unload any of the failures.
There seems to be a policy conflict between Minneapolis' parking ramp building binge and the publicly proclaimed goal of mass transit.
