A few months ago, Minneapolis Finance Director Patrick Born, stated in the
Strib that he was re-financing some parking ramp losers to make them more
attractive to private buyers. There's been no follow up, so we don't know
if the City has been able to unload any of the failures.

There seems to be a policy conflict between Minneapolis' parking ramp
building binge and the publicly proclaimed goal of mass transit.

Minneapolis needs to get all four of its own wheels pointed in the same
direction.
