From the food drive organizer, donations schlepper and general good guy:
Hello Everyone,
In the past week I've had a good lot of people ask for another food drive to benefit the transit workers. In that week, I received a phone call from a reporter at Minnesota Public Radio who heard of our last drive and would like to come down and get audio from donors for a story. With all of that, I've decided to give another food drive a go this Thursday, from 11:00 to 2:00.
Drop off locations are:
Carlson School of Management, Room 110 (which is behind the Info Desk) This is the easiest to drive into because of the mini- traffic/parking circle outside the front door.
Wiley Hall (the Law School), 1st floor study area.
Wilson Library, Information desk by the main entrance.
If you prefer to donate money, please make the check out to ATU 1005 Strike Fund
Thanks again for your exceptional, and newsworthy help with these drives. It's truly appreciated.
All the best,
Ryan Hanson (the organizer)
Ryan added a PS pointing out that Passover and Easter foods are more expensive than day in and out supplies. Matzo and Paas (tm) I guess.
