EnvironDesign8 April 21-23, 2004 Minneapolis, MN
The Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul will host the 2004 EnvironDesign conference, an event destined to build on the overwhelming support already received from many of the leading environmental advocates in the business, design and academic communities there, with strong support from state and local government as well as NGO organizations. Minneapolis has emerged as one of the nations greenest cities, propelled by Mayor R.T. Rybaks focus on the environment and his emphasis to push forward a Green City Initiative.
What Is EnvironDesign?
EnvironDesign is the premier annual conference showcasing all that is truly revolutionary about whats happening to advance environmental stewardship and sustainable development in both the public and private sector. It is one of the most well-respected symposiums dealing with the topics of sustainable design and business practices and their ability to be incorporated into mainstream America.
EnvironDesign is a celebration of all the good and positive things that are happening in many market segments in regard to the environment. It is about the important issues on the grassroots, the national and the international stage; it is about the people who are making effortsboth big and smallto tackle these challenges head-on; it is about the specific actions being taken, the concrete and oftentimes creative solutions to problems from which we can learn and devise even more remedies.
I found the above intro to Minneapolis for over 500 Design professionals quite provocative.
