Public Forum: "the State of the Upper Mississippi River in Minneapolis: Are
We Effective Stewards?"

Sponsored by the Mississippi Corridor Neighborhood Coalition through a grant
from the Bush Foundation.

April 24, Saturday, NE State Bank, Rasmussen Community Room, Broadway at
Marshall NE, 9:30am - noon. Refreshments will be served.

A panel of experts from local environmental groups and government agencies
involved in the stewardship of the Upper Mississippi River Corridor in
Minneapolis will respond to questions from the community audience regarding
such topics as:

+Cooperative stewardship

+Ecological health

+Pros and cons of lock and dam removal

+Current and future development and mitigation

+Fish advisories and other environmental health issues
