Why is Best Buy given any better treatment than WallMart? Best Buy is
a big box retailer that drove out the little guys. What happened to
the Sound Center? I've been soured to the Best Buy experience by a
sales force that pushes expensive, unnecessary ad-ons that aren't
needed, return policies and procedures designed to discourage and
divert. Service is dead. For a transaction that is cold and without
trust the internet is at least cheaper. Go to the Electric Fetus for
music. Go to Warners' Stellian for appliances. Go to First Tech and
buy a Mac. Turn off the TV and read a book to your kids. You don't
need Best Buy downtown.
