"For more than 25 years the theater has crafted a reputation built on unwavering activism and a gorgeous artistic vision. ....this collective of grass-roots artists has spearheaded some of the most breathtaking events in the city's history" Carolyn Petrie St Paulk Pioneer Press
On Sunday, May 2nd, the 30th annual MayDay Parade and Festival will wind its way, drum its way, and dance its way along Bloomington Avenue into Powderhorn Park. Hundreds of people come together to create this amazing parade! And as many as 50,000 people turn out to celebrate the day together.
None of it could happen without phenomenal levels of volunteer support. This is where you come in! Opportunities abound for individuals and groups to help. And this year we are particularly short of volunteers. So please consider being a MayDay volunteer -- it's really a thrill!
Volunteering is a great way to be part of the MayDay community and to meet other fun people. In addition, each participant will receive a Volunteer T-Shirt and a ticket voucher good at one of the mainstage shows during the 2004-05 season at In the Heart of the Beast Theatre.
MayDay comes to life because of people like you!
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Margery Otto, Volunteer Coordinator - In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, 612-721-2535, Voice Mail #14, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
