I don't get it. http://www.startribune.com/stories/1592/4746324.html

You elect a school board.
The school board selects a superintendent .
You get mad.
The school board de-selects a superintendent and/or the superintendent
decides not to accept.
The school board wants to hire a consulting firm to have a "six-month
conversation with the community". Ah, isn't that what you have a school
board for?
The superintendent continues to be "interim".

Why do you even have a school board if you cannot trust them to hire a
superintendent, and if they have to hire a consulting firm to have a
"conversation with the community" (sorry to be redundent, but I love that
term).

Unsolicited advice of the day: Maybe you need to elect a school board you
can trust and then leave them alone to do their job.
