An opportunity gone down the river.

Commissioners Walt Dziedzic , John Erwin, Annie Young, Rochelle Berry Graves and
Vivian Mason voted against Crown Hydro.

( Nina Archabal, Director Minnesota Historical Society) "Archabal called it
premature for the Park Board to sign a lease. She wants the Park Board itself to
do the archeological review, not Crown Hydro, she said. "That is the kind of
vision that produced Mill Ruins Park," Archabal said. "Why would we expect less
of [Park Board Commissioners] now? They are the owners. They are the ones with
the responsibility." excerpt from:

Having denied Crown Hydro the responsibility for the archeological review of the
Cataract Mill site, have these commissioners taken up the responsibility?

Or, will it remain an asphalt parking lot for the indefinite future?

Remember the vote the next time the MPRB votes down your neighborhood request
for $100,000 ( the down payment from Crown Hydro ) of lighting for your park.
