Perhaps what's needed would be for a group of say 200 or so Minneapolis
teachers to get together and do a day of door-knocking in Owatonna, talking
to the good folk who live there about the challenges faced in Minneapolis
schools and how Mr. Day has been a contributor to the problem rather than a
part of the solution. 200 teachers could probably educate a whole lot of
Owatonnian's in one day, and perhaps bring Mr. Day to the point where he
might be willing to look at solutions rather than opportunities to throw
brick-a-bats.
