I'm so glad that "Representative" Kahn understands
that the best use of my city property tax money is
holding an early city election in order to save us
from the evil threat of the nasty Green Party that
defeated her friend, former City Council President
Jackie Cherryhomes and so personally offends her.

I'm pleased to see that she knows that we were just
stupid in 2001 and that with a different costly
election, scheduled one year before regular city
elections, we'll make a choice more to her liking, one
that will wipe third parties out of existence as she
apparently wants to do. It's so nice to see a
"humble" politician do what needs to be done and save
us from ourselves.

Apparently, the term "representative" has nothing to
do with actually representing people, it's simply
about protecting your own political power.

In response to Dorian Eder's post about why the Greens
don't just join in and try to change the DFL, this
mean spirited move by Phyllis Kahn is one of the many
reasons people become distgusted with the DFL and join
the Green Party.

Fortunately for those of us who see multi-party
representation in Minnesota as essential to a healthy
democracy, Rep. Kahn DOES have an election to contend
with in '04... her own.

For those of you in 59B who are sick of mean spirited
behavior towards third parties, and arrogant attitudes
towards constiuents I urge you to take a look at Becki
Smith!

She's likable, she's personable and she'll actually
LISTEN to your needs. After Becki wins in November,
we can have the city elections in November of '05,
when we're supposed to have them!

Tamir Nolley
Holland 59a (not actually represented by Rep Kahn, but
still affected by this rediculous law suit.)
