I would like to invite those interested to join us as Wilma Gary, an African-American textile artist speaks at VOA Middle School, Monday, June 7th, from 9:00 AM - 10:30 PM. (First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Ave. So.) She will be discussing her research on Quilt Codes as they relate to the Underground Railroad. VOA Middle School Students will have their finished original nine-patch quilt on display. This after school project was sponsored by the Wells Fargo Community.
