Came home from work today to find the police in full force doing a "raid" on the corner "house from hell".
>From the looks of things they took away quite a few. They didn't get the corner store yet but the it was obvious they were connected. When the police went to enter the house one of the thugs ran across the street into the store and the store owner let him in there. Some of us were outside watching and a few of the police officers came to talk to us. Some of the thugs that were left behind were yelling at us about minding our own business and letting them do what they are going to do. The thugs were supposed to move out today but evidently they got some sort of legal paper that supposedly prevented the landlord from making them move. I don't know what that was but I am sure they know the system and how to work it so it doesn't surprise me. After the police left, my sons friend heard the thugs that remained behind threaten to shoot up my house and burn it to the ground and to shoot up the apartment building across the street where some neighbors were also outside watching. So, not really sure how to deal with this one. I think I need to ship my son off again to keep him safe. I don't want to leave my house because I don't want to give them an open opportunity to firebomb it. Any lawyers or law enforcement people know what my options are here? Any advise is greatly appreciated. Barb Lickness Whittier A little scared tonight ===== "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
