Now that you have endorsed him, perhaps you could suggest that he offer
something more than a few old clichs ("new vision", "re-energize",

Dayhoff appears to be an earnest young man and certainly does not appear
to be as far out in right field as republican school board candidates in
Minneapolis have been in the past 10 years or so.

That sounds good. I know when he talked with us at our Log Cabin Republicans, he had done his homework. He had taken the initiative to find information on the Out 4 Good program - and came prepared to answer our questions about that.

You might also suggest that he try answering a question from time to
time instead of doing a dandy George W. Bush imitation with a smirk and
a slogan. Endless repetition of a few platitudes is now the Republican
idea of having a message but I suspect that Minneapolis voters will ask
more of candidates for school board.

And Democrats don't spout platitudes and cliches?

All I can speak to is my personal experience with Dayhoff. I met him during this round of Republican conventions - and he answered questions at those conventions.

If anyone wants to get a chance to ask Dayhoff some questions face to face, you've got some opportunities coming up at Pride this weekend. He will be our guest at our booth at 3-5 on Saturday and Sunday. Connie Nompelis - Minneapolis Republican City Committee Chair will be our guest on Sunday at 2:00.

Our booth is booth number 4034 - and we are near the tennis courts.

Stop on by.
