Minneapolis shelled out $1.4 million to enable Sandy Hey (Hey City Stage) to
indulge in her theater hobby at 824 Hennepin Avenue.

Once again, the questions are as follows:

1. How much rent did she ACTUALLY PAY to the City?
2. How much in total property taxes did she ACTUALLY PAY?
3. Were taxes due in addition to the rent?
4. What internal MCDA loan? Who lent money to whom? How much? Was it
ever repaid?
5. Who paid for the $370,000 renovations in 2000 and 2001?
6. Why are these records not available to the public, or reflected on the
City's website?
7. Offering Hey City Stage $1.4 million and below market rent IS A LURE!
What would you call it?

I want to calculate, for the benefit of Minneapolis taxpayers, how much
money was lost on this attempt to add "culture" to the City in lieu of
Police. ....And remember that "culture" is where bacteria grows.

"The building was in turn leased to Hey City for 10 years at $11,041 per
month, with options to extend.

Real estate taxes have been paid by the Heys from the start of the
lease.

There was a guaranty by the Heys for an internal MCDA loan, but that
guaranty has expired.

Hey City was not "lured away" from 7 Corners."
