Last night I had the privilege of taking my first ever paid trip on our new LRT. I went downtown for dinner with friends, had a great time, and returned home by train. It took 20 minutes to get from 50th street to the nicollet mall station. Nice ride, not too crowded by then. There were a number of Twins fans going on both my rides. The bike racks were all filled each way too, good to see. Now with transportation so great to the dome for me I may have to become a football and baseball fan.
I am looking forward to the finish of the line so I can do my Christmas shopping at the mall. Parking then is terrible, so I don't go then. Ron Leurquin Nokomis East REMINDERS: 1.
