If you're going to run an effective, successful campaign, yes it's important to be aware of the "message" your competition is sending to potential voters. However, there are legal avenues for obtaining this information. There must be someone in the area that would've given Rep. Kahn a lit piece if she had asked.

Regarding the comments made by Wizard Marks.
I can't believe that anyone would advocate stealing campaign lit, especially
someone that has run for office. Wizard, your comments are very
disappointing.
You may be use to campaign lit being a bunch of BS, but most candidates I've
ever work for or with have taken the issues very seriously. Maybe you're
working with the wrong crowd.
