She knew better than to do such a thing and got caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar. I find it sad that she is not being punished in some fashion by her fellow reps for this misdeed of our processes. This kind of shenanigans will continue, at all levels until we the people stand up and demand that our reps set the example. Peter Schmitz: Even one is too many. Believe me, I'm not using this issue to stump for the Green Party. Given the steep decline of the DFL's political fortunes which has led to the decline of state aide to Minneapolis and St. Paul, I beg the chair of the DFL Pary to publicy condemn Representative Kahn's actions. As for Wizard Mark's remarks that this is just a tempest in a teapot, it echos the dismissals of many Republican's when first confronted with the Watergate scandal in 1972. But at least most of them had a conscience and eventually came to their senses. Last year State Senator Linda Berglin passed a bill that fines parents up to $300.00 if their children are convicted of graffitti-related vandalism. How can she and other prominent DFL politicians from Mpls remain silent on Kahn's crime while punishing inner-city families with a vegenance? ------Peter Schmitz Downtown St. Paul ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
