B..Since a legislative change in early 2003, the cost of an eviction has

D.. Obviously very well since I have not had to take anyone to court of late
nor have I had any move outs recently. $247!! now I am really upset!

D.. It is my job as a owner to figure out if someone is

B.. How do you figure out "if someone is going to be a good tenant" without
> hiring an impartial agency to research an individuals' background?

D..I don't need an impartial agency to tell me if someone has worked
consistently, how many evictions they have had , why they are moving, and
what they plan for the future. Some of it is common sense.. some gut
instinct. On my application I have a saying.. "Be honest in all things that
you do and treat everyone with respect." They know going into my units,
they are clean, the building will be kept clean and they will be treated
with respect as long as they themselves act accordingly. There have been
bumps, been to court, have had to call the police the list goes on but
overall, my tenants have been wonderful people from all walks of life
working hard to make it just like the rest of us. In short...what you give
is what you receive...expect the best and surprisingly you receive it. Sorry
for the polly anna...You most likely have several units..I don't nor do I
have a title so our stories and positions are most different.

Would like to state...1920 city council rules were made to control the City
from the common people. Citizens Allizence held control 1916 - 1934..it was
an open market, big business and the wealthy until the Truckers Strike. To
be following the City guidelines of control from that particular era is not
one to favor.

Now, if they would give Nokomis Library back the hours it deserves, life
would be great!
