I'd written Ellison about this - he is my representative. I have not heard back from him yet - but perhaps he is on vacation. And Keith Ellison certainly should post his position on this on the list. He may have fallen for the "teach the controversy" argument given by the Creationism promoters.

Saying creationism deserves equal time with the theory of evolution in the classroom is like saying I deserve equal time with Pavarotti at the Sydney Opera House.
