Forgive my ignorance, but how do you define "economic democracy?" My sensibilities would tell me that the definition would be a free market place (don't we already have that?). I suspect I'm missing the mark. Also, "knitting the urban economy into the bioregion" sounds like sci-fi jibberish (no offence intended), like "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow," so, again, forgive my lack of familiarity with these terms.
