Tenants rights meeting agenda: Shift or Shaft? Were landlord' needs shlofft?

The breakfast meeting relating to tenant/landlord rights and regulation,
hosted by CM Gary Schiff, has come and gone. It had been announced here and
elsewhere. I was busy with previously committed tasks, and could not monitor. I have
seen no announcements of the "outcomes" of this gathering. Can anyone report
what was "accomplished" there? Can anyone, including silent Gary, tell me
which persons were invited to represent the "for-profit" affordable housing
providers (local landlords)? We were already well informed from his meeting
announcement that "Staff and advocates from HOME Line and the Jobs and Affordable
Housing campaign will be on hand."

Keith said then (7/27):

I am a rental property owner. I believe generally that the landlord/tenant
rights dynamic is a zero sum game. If a right is given to one; it must be taken
from the other. Further, it is possible to take a right from one, give it to
the other; and have both parties suffer from the outcome of the shift.

I learned, during the implementation and evolution of the "Mpls. Housing
Crises", how City elected leaders' mean spirited manipulation of municipal
ordinance could be used to create mass homelessness, and the unfair destruction of
private property.
