Adult Circulation Walker 176,693 Nokomis 113,750
Children's Walker 48,883 Nokomis 102,520
Teen Walker 6,833 Nokomis 4,582 (have programs) (no programs)
Total circulation Walker 232,409 open 5 days a week 40 hours with Saturdays.. Nokomis 220,852 open 3 days a week 24 hours W/O Saturdays..
In library use Walker 55,834 Nokomis 95,452
East Lake is up in Circulation which I would assume is picking up on Nokomis being closed. This is just a FYI when money and hours are passed out for libraries.
The rich can afford an education for their children, wherever. Most of the populace, depends on /pays taxes for.... public schools and libraries to educate their children so they can have opportunities also. Financial accountability/responsibility is one thing..but to gut both institutions to save a buck for some taxpayers is another.
