It is clear from his posts that Mr. Graham has a personal vendetta against Mr. Sabri.
Mr. Graham has repeatedly accused Mr. Sabri of taking advantage of the Somalis as if
they are a bunch of sheep that can't think for themselves. That is an insult to the
Somali people. I know that Mr. Sabri is using his own money for projects for the
Somalis, Hispanics and African-Americans, unlike other developers, Mr. Graham.
Mr. Graham keeps referring to the contract that has been violated. I know that it has
already been determined by the impartial Councilmember Goodman and the impartial CPED
director/attorney, Lee Sheehy and the city attorney that Mr. Sabri meets all of the
requirements under the contract. Maybe Mr. Graham knows more so he could educate
these people about the violations.
Folks, Mr. Sabri owns the land as of last May. CPED even sold it to him knowing he
had an application in process for housing. Was does that mean? So anyone's, including
Gary Schiff, accusation that Mr. Sabri wasn't upfront about the housing is purely
false.
Let's continue to move forward with good projects such as this in the city. Let's
support the mayor for his good leadership.
