WM: A pending federal case would not necessarily hinder Sabri Properties from completing the work. Basim Sabri could always hire someone to run his company in his stead should he be judged guilty.

The developer also agrees not to discriminate. He has
already stated publicly several times and the mayor
confirmed in his statements to Rochelle Olson on Sept.
10th that he intends to build housing for Somali's. I
interpret that as discriminatory.


WM: This is not necessarily discriminatory. For all we know, Somalis prefer to arrange their living space as they did in Somalia and that arrangement may be quite different from ours. If we have no housing which accommodates, then we are currently discriminating against Somalis and need to correct that. Any developer who contracts to improve the situation is not discriminating.
