Nice try John- but remember the old hot rodders saying, "you can't outrun the radio". Well that used to be true back when Minneapolis and all the neighboring cities had compatible radios and could just switch to a mutual aid channel and continue the chase by radio. But thanks to the Bush administration's pork barrel corporate welfare cleverly disguised as "homeland security" legislation, most of the west metro cops have new "high tech" radios that can't communicate with the old reliable ones the rest of the state's cops use.
Again, Republicans send our tax dollars to Motorola, E.F. Johnson, G.E. et al for fancy toys when what we really need is what the John Kerry will give us- more cops on the street!
